Terms of Sale
These terms apply to purchases of the paid tiers of these tools — Kaido Pro and Bitcoffer's commercial licence.
1. Who is selling
The software is developed and sold by Ruohu Yang, a sole proprietor, through the following channels:
- Direct download (from our sites): sold by Paddle.com Market Ltd (Paddle) as Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller of record for your order and handles payment, invoicing, VAT/sales tax, and refunds. Paddle, not the developer, appears on your card statement.
- Mac App Store: sold by Apple under its Media Services Terms and refund policy.
Ruohu Yang is responsible for the software, licence issuance, and support.
2. Licence scope
- A purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence, valid for the device count stated at checkout.
- Updates are included for the duration of the licence.
- The licence may not be resold, redistributed, or rented.
3. Licence file and activation
Direct-download builds are activated with a license.json file emailed to you after payment. The licence is bound to the app; publicly posted licences are revoked.
4. Subscription and expiry
Kaido Pro is billed annually. When a subscription lapses, Pro features stop working, but your existing project files remain readable and editable with the free feature set. We never delete your data.
Bitcoffer is a one-time purchase with a perpetual licence — there is no subscription and nothing auto-renews.
5. Prohibited use
- Circumventing or breaking the licence check;
- Reverse engineering or redistributing modified builds, except where mandatorily permitted by law;
- Using the software for unlawful purposes.
6. Disclaimer
The software is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss. The tools help you manage plans and secrets; they do not replace your professional judgement.
7. Changes
Material changes to price or licence scope apply only to orders placed after the change.
